I came to visit my family and they insisted that we go to Yuki. They had just tried it after years of seeing it as they pass by and realized that they had been missing out. It is really delicious.
The chef manages to put so much flavor in the food, including the vegetables and rice. He also provides some fun banter as he cooks in front of you.
Affordable, fun, delicious, and you get to meet new people as you watch the chef work. Check it out -

My family and I are here about once a month so I really don't know why I don't check into this place more often. Also, how have I not reviewed this place already? Shaking my head at myself.
I'm going to address my only concern upfront. I wish they would focus on cleaning the condiments and tabletop items better. Whenever I go to use the soy sauce, the bottle feels pretty greasy. Also, check your silverware because I've had to ask for a different set because it was spotty or not clean.
Now, as far as the hibachi menu, I love it. I like this place better than the similar restaurant down the road in front of the Galleria. The hibachi chefs are always so nice and we end up having great conversations. They prepare the food in an entertaining way for the kids, which my boys love. The food is always good and I love me some Yum Yum sauce.
I've had sushi here a few times and it's always been pretty good and fresh. My oldest son tried some last night and he really like it. This place is conveniently located, the service is good, and the food is tasty. -

I ordered an okayko don which is SUPPOSED to be chicken katsu on top of rice and a softly done egg. What I got instead was rice and CHICKEN NUGGETS! NO WAY does that come close to what that dish is supposed to be!!!!!!! I've lived in Japan for an extended period of time, so don't come out and tell me that's how its supposed to be! On top of that you make me wait almost 40 minutes for frozen nuggets and my friend is already thru with his meal. The only saving grace of the night was my AMAZING waitress. OH!!! AND THEN YOU HAVE THE GALL TO PUT KETCHUP ON THERE?!?! GET OUTTA HERE!

Didn't really look like much when we arrived, but the food was really good and the service was "so-so", but not at all worth the mandatory tip that they took out of all of our checks.
I'm sure that my experience was due to lack of empathy by the employees here and their desire to get off at closing time.... which I do understand, but at the same time I was upset because they weren't holding back their annoyance with us.
It was my daughters 15th Bday lunch and she chose Yuki's. We arrived at 1:30 and was told that they close at 2 which was disappointing but we'd figure we'd just hurry and eat. A lot of other people arrived a few minutes before and after us as well so we weren't the only ones.
There was 7 of us all together.
I was impressed with the food, it was really good. BUT, the Hibachi chef that we got was in a hurry to get us out of there and didn't do any impressive tricks or fun stuff that we expected.
The other tables seated around us got that special attention and arrived the same time that we did. So I wasn't happy about that.
We paid separate checks, yet they still took a certain percentage tip out of all 3 of our checks and didn't do much to earn that much of a tip so that peeved me!!
Maybe we will give them another chance in the future to impress us, or we'll just continue to go to Stixx where we know we'll get entertainment.
But I don't think we'll go with a group anymore since they stiffed us on the entertainment knowing they'd get that tip anyway. -

I went to the restaurant in a group of 8. We were seated right away and filled up the whole hibachi grill. Only tenderloin and chicken were ordered among the group. The beef was cooked right for everyone even though there were different preferences. The chicken was tender and delicious. Overall, the food was great. How can you go wrong when it's served with something called yum-yum sauce?
